First timer here. Never got into Nuzlocke's because I would always just overlevel or item scum and found them more tedious than challenging. But after seeing some HC runs that ruleset seems much more up my street.
Started a White 2 run today, really enjoying it. Huge Power Azurill and Guts Rattata are my most exciting encounters, but Modest Petilil seems like it will also be great. Only casualty so far was me stubbornly not playing round crit when grinding up Purrloin.
Gonna steamroll Burghs gym with Tony and Richard and call it a day for day 1.
