It's a just a Pokemon themed Valentine's image using the most Valentine-related theme they have (a vague, one-dimensional, ONE SIDED crush) as its basis. It's not a tease, it's not a hint. It's a fucking seasonal image. The only people reading more into it than that are people who sadly are very vested in a children's show in which plot is tertiary at best.

You know, they had Serena and Bonnie parading around in Christmas apparel a few months ago, too. Does that make it canon that they celebrate Christmas? Or maybe was it just a Christmas season cash grab and nothing more?
Is this image meant to clearly hint or tease that Splinter, canonically, totally wants the V? Or maybe they just slapped April on there because she's virtually the only female presence in the cartoon, and far more recognizable than Irma.
