Instead of begging GF to add the frontier again, why don't we make our own? We've done multiple fan game projects before, usually dropped but still, so I'm sure if enough people on /vp/ cared enough, we could create an online BF simulator like showdown.
We will never get the original BF back so an unofficial simulator is the best we got.
