The whole business over (You) fishing is so dumb. Why does it need to be about attention? If you want upvotes, go back to R.eddit.
People repeat the same concerns over and over, e.g. starter wars and gen wars, why is smogon this way, can we all agree that something something, now that the dust has settled something something, etc. And frankly even though it's not rational thinking, this is what builds resentment toward a Pokemon or game because it's spammed to death, similar to how Lucario isn't an offense on its own but who and how it's been presented with end up turning people off from it.
And of course, there are the degenerate Pokephilia and sexual threads that should just be sent to a NSFW board since, especially in consideration to last night and nights prior, these people really want to talk about Pokemon porn or are fishing for attention, the latter case leading me back to the previous point about attention.
