Also, nah. He was a sham and a fucking conman who robbed credit from people and made millions in the process. He went on and on and basked in the glory while people called him "The Japanese Beethoven" and he pretended to be deaf. He couldn't even compose. He's also incorrectly considered the guy behind all the Onimusha music. Turns out the real guy was a dude named Takashi Niigaki (pic related) and he produced music for the guy for like 2 decades without getting respect and while barely being paid.
