I stopped because I thought “I’m a big boy now”, and should do what the other boys did because they also stopped caring about Pokemon. I returned with Sword & Shield. The game was honestly alright, but dabbling in comp battles and trading made me realize how much I missed the series. I thought SV would ruin that, but it solidified even more, because the characters and stories were actually good.
