Though unlike USUM I prefer SM UI that had more soul.
Regardless outside of Gen I and murkrow none of the pokemon, gym leaders, elite four, etc ever caught my attention. The content is never fully given attention too. Just like unknown have various forms, while they served a purpose, it became a trend and then we get other pokemon that get that extensive treatment like vivillion and the "70" decorations forms of alcremie. Sure there's another handful of pokemon that get this treatment but at least some of them had more purpose than this, imho. Yet why do that get more attention over properly addressing trade evolutions, held item evolutions, and etc evolution methods I don't know.
Also from Gen 1-6 I wasn't really even using a full party because HM slaves and I never optimized so that 2-3 would cover all the necessary HMs.
You may think I like nuPokemon more than older generations. Yet that's not the case. I just accepted that every issue that older generations present they will never be addressed and it's all about the current gimmick.
I mean hell people can't even bring themselves to realize that there is less G-Max pokemon than there was Mega Evolutions because they are hellbent over the most stupidest of shit. A god damn fucking tree.
Sadly this is why the argument lost because this crap that should matter is way low in people's god damn totem pole because it ain't meme worthy at the time where it could have changed minds.
Yet this is how it has always been.
