flint is pretty baller in general, and gamefreak knew it because he's the first e4 member to show up outside of the league. he's got a great dynamic with volkner. flint is exhausted after a battle, while volkner is amped up, which is the opposite of how they are before. i relate a lot to volkner, because i too get excited when things that are exciting happen.
