Finished up GSC and here is the Crystal run with the rule that I'm allowed 1 evolution after each gym.
This resulted in using a lot of stage 1 mons, which wasn't bad and made me more careful, though I tended to level them up a bit more than the gym leader caps. Red the Cyndaquil almost made it past the E4, but when I tried to put it to use against Karen's Houdoom, it got critted....
Been pretty fun to explore GSC again, but I do enjoy the hacks of them much better, TPP Anniversary Crystal brings out a lot in the game and so does Prism within the same gen 2 engine.
