Incidentally, in case it's useful for anyone, Sesquatch's new backsprite doesn't quite adjust properly, it looses some of the definition and shading. Not sure if this will reflect in-game, but my tests before I knew to synchronize the palette looked like the horrid mess the tool predicted. Figured I'd say something, maybe it's news to someone.
Last thing, on saves, is it as easy as just renaming saves to get them to work with the new edited rom, or is there something else I'd need to do, or does editing the sprites make the save and rom incompatible? I weakly suspect incompatibility, since I had to fiddle with some write-to/offset stuff to get the thing to work, which probably changes the data of the game enough to make them not want to talk with old saves anymore.
