Sucks that you had unlucky taste? I like Farfetch'd a lot. Sometimes Pokemon you like suck, that's just the way things go.

I never noticed it. All regions are pretty linear (even if they trick you into thinking they're not). Who really cares? Does backtracking or cutting across the region really add to the game experience? I don't think so. Either way, you're going to be walking forward and battling garbage NPCs.

I thought it was okay. Poketch and Pokegear were superior, but these things add so little to the game that I don't really care. As long as I can access the menu easily, I don't care what dumb utility device they give me.
>Metagame
Yeah, that's the biggest bad mark against the gen. Hopefully GF makes some balance adjustments. I think power creep is on the verge of ruining the game though. At least there are other tiers besides OU to play though. Just do UU if you don't like the OU metagame.

TL;DR Most of your arguments are opinion and thus don't count for shit. Metagame was definitely crap, but that's why different tiers exist.
