For battling,there are many different strategies you Can employ if you are thinking on your feet. Turn him into part of the scenery and quick strike. Have a shouldermon with you and have him turn into it. Send him out as a meowth against a Charizard, then have him transform to catch opponent off guard.
Ditto is a cool dude. Plus I guess if you want you can turn him into a cute girl whose butt you can touch, if you're into that sort of thing.
