Your favorite pokemon will not be obtainable through any means in sword and shield. You don't know if they will be in any future games. Your favorite is gone. Would you care then?
Because that's what a lot of people are worried about,. Not being able to use their favorite Pokemon that they've become attached to. Every Pokemon is someone's favorite. Just because you dislike a certain Pokemon doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to continue to exist.
