Seri's background isn't all that certain, and you certainly won't get her to talk about it-- however, she's well aware that her mother (a stockbroker named Ringlet), isn't her biological one.
Talking to Ringlet will yield some results in garnering some of the girl's history. It's claimed that Ringlet took Seri into her care after she'd ended up in police custody. It isn't certain how Seri had ended up there, but what is known is that when Ringlet adopted her, she was barely able to speak beyond fragmented sentences.
