Instead of having the professor doing the intro speech -This world is inhabited by creatures called pokémon! For some people, pokémon are pets. Others use them for fights.- the game starts with a flashback of the MC parents explaining him the concept of pokemon and people relationship with them.
Some people suggested having the flashback take place on a beach, other at night, watching the sky with your parents, there's also another idea of having the MC watch a league fight (or something like that, cant remember) with his dad.
The point is to do something different with the intro and give it a more nostalgic vibe.
