Looking at them now it's like a bizzaro version of the Paldean gym leaders, but these were posted in late July (2022) when we still knew jack shit. There's no way they could've been done as bait for youtubers because they're too similar to the official designs, but there are just enough differences between these images and the official gym leaders to raise eyebrows. Was it some rogue employee redrawing them in his/her style to be able to avoid legal trouble? Was it a bunch of leaked design documents that were later tweaked? What WAS this??
