>>48867961>Definitely reaching master rank in soloq is impossibleI did it and this is my first MOBA ever. Just gotta know the basics of the meta and pick a 'mon that can carry, or get very close to carrying. So if you pick a Blissey or Pikachu, yeah, Soloq Masters is a no-go. But Lucario, Talonflame, Venusaur, Greninja? Easy peasy.
>First Drednaw is important, then from then on, target the Rotoms>First Drednaw, everyone should rotate to bottom. It can be okay to leave one person in the top lane, depends on the line-up.>Have at least the first goal be down before you go for Rotom >Steal enemy mobs when you can>If you're a laner, bully the lane. Focus on weakening the enemy, not just chasing and killing, so they can at least be too weak to get the Bees. If you chase too early on, chances on they'll just reheal at goal and punish you or you'll get ambushed by intro Jungler>If you're a Jungler, go top lane first then rotate to bottom for Drednaw.>If your team is failing at objectives (Rotom, Drednaw, Goal Defending), focus on killing your mobs just to level up for Zap.>Always save Ult around the 3:00 mark for Zapdos. Even if you're about to die in that moment, save it.>Always enter Zap area via jump-pad bush, never tunnels.>If the enemy gets Zap and they're not all in low health, immediately go for a backcap. Pretty much your only hope at trying to even the score. And the basics for Zap:
>Enemy Gets Zap, Enemy Wipes = WINNABLE GAME>Enemy Gets Zap, Half Team Dies = BARELY WINNABLE GAME>Enemy Gets Zap, Nobody Dies = NOT WINNABLESo if you think you have some chance of winning the game because you wiped the enemy AFTER they capped, you don't. By the time you get to their goal, they'll have spawned. It's over, don't fool yourself into thinking, "M-maybe we'll win!".
