>Accidentally let a Gardevoir in double battle trace Speed Boost>It Calm Minds on the first turn when I had to switch both mons outThat got out of hand quickly. Killed Shuriken the Greninja before I could finally stop it too, which fucking sucks. Who will be Flyguy's ninja buddy now?
Turns out it's another water/dark type; Snips Jr., here to avenge his father who died way too quickly in my Ruby run now that he has physical stab moves. Kind of the perfect partner for Ninjask baton pass shenanigans, they tore through the psychic gym.
Team Flare was a joke as usual, except for Lysandre. Turns out my team matched up very poorly against him, just his Mienfoo/shao could fuck my entire squad up. Barely managed to get by that thanks to protect spamming its hi jump kicks with Ninjask & Magnezone. Unfortunately things started to come crashing down in the third fight when it turned out his Pyroar could now 2-shot my entire team, including Snips. Combined with a poor switch in against an earthquake with Magnezone and a poorly timed crit we lost half the team in one fight. Lysandre is surprisingly brutal compared to every other boss fight in this game. Thank God Ninjask was here to save the day, or that Gyarados might have ended the run.
Quickly popped into the next routes for some encounters and found a Pupitar so there's good news for the run yet. Also probably adding Skrelp but not sure who to give the final slot to.
>>55263168>>55263455Haha yes.. Very easy..
>>55262943I'm enjoying gen 6, but it does have very obvious flaws. I think that (without exp share) it's not that much easier than other games. The bosses are usually weak but some random trainers can fuck you up.
>>55256888>I'm surprised your frailer pokemon are making it this farWhy do people keep jinxing me like this? (It's probably because I'm usually more cautious with the frailer stuff. Ninjask especially I was very careful with, and Baton Pass now really helps keep him out of trouble.)
