The combat is still "Meh" I'll have the most fun arranging teams and rotating like crazy for effects. Whisper easily getting influenced was pretty cute.
What really impressed me was the overworld and tree/trash/building/grass/etc search feature. I never turn my 3D on for my games, but this one looks pretty damn good in it.
Think I'll still pick it up first day, pretty sure battles'll be better when I'm using my favorite Yokai and running into weird new monsters.
Demo should've had Captain Bully.
