I really fucking loved Flaaffy when it was first revealed. I made it a point to make it my ace the first time I played Silver version. Eventually I gave into the temptation of evolving it and have loved Ampharos ever since.
Rotom is my favorite color, it's two of my three favorite types or all three if you count forms, and it has a cute design and a nice gimmick. I couldn't NOT love it.
Golurk is just everything I ever wanted in a Pokemon since I was a kid. The same way some people's childhood wishes of a t-rex Pokemon got fulfilled through Tyrantrum, I always wanted a giant automaton Pokemon. The fact that it's ghost type is a nice bonus.
