>>49501394I feel like they need to stop adding starters as playable fighters. Pokemon Trainer was a neat idea on paper but poorly executed in Brawl but at least improved in Ultimate. Greninja felt like a worse Lucario the first time I played them. Incineroar did grow on me as a fighter because they're just stupidly fun.
If we get another fighter from Pokemon in a future Smash title, I'd want it to be a regular Pokemon or even a Legendary. Give us something like Toxtricity or heck, they could even make Latias work as a fighter with Latios as her echo.
Or better yet just make an all Pokemon platform fighter.
