Just beat the E4 in US, even though I've had the games since launch (it just felt like a chore because Its basically more of the same)

I'd say throughout the entire game I literally only used him in about 10 battles mainly to do chip damage or to soak up damage so another pokemon can come in for the finishing blow. Rock slide was too damn weak so I eventually gave him stone miss....I mean stone edge and as prediced in the 5 pp the damn move has I probably only got it off 2 times. Even chit thats NVE against him just blows him away. Fire fang was a mistake because the only mons its effective against are ones that can also kill him and fire fang will either miss, or hit but not kill the opponent and then I get OHKO by their move. accelrock was also worthless because of redundancy of rock moves and even though it was STAB it also never killed anything and desu it was pretty worthless becasue he's already outspeeds 99% of the alolan mons....and crunch I never used because I had a incenaroar with STAB crunch that dealt more damage.
His movepool is shallow as fuck, the moves he can learn have chit accuracy or are simply not strong enough to do the job. He's got the stats of a glass cannon but he's not a "cannon" at all he's just glass. I've never had such a chitty time raising a pokemon in-game, and this is coming from someone that has raised a persian. At least that thing had technician+fakeout combo to rely on
If you were to use him competitively what the hell would anyone even use him for? Even when you think he's perfect for a job he still falls short (as an adamant) with STAB moves. Unless you're going up against a fire/flying or bug/flying mon, he's completely worthless.
I know this is a wall of text, but I had to vent about this.
