The franchise is UNDENIABLY at its lowest point. I don't care how many units they've sold to the Chinese. The franchise lacks soul now. The art direction sucks and the Pokemon are designed by an admitted objectophile. The games lack content, there is not even a semblance of a postgame, they armtwist you to buy DLC with content that should have been included in the base game, the multiplayer is an afterthought, the character designs have stopped being wholesome and are intentionally made to appeal to coomers (the mark of a dying franchise), what little challenge there was has been stripped from the game to cater to normalfags raised on mobile games, and they keep coming up with more and more sinister ways to get you to spend money. They've lost sight of what made the original games so beloved. If you disagree with ANYTHING I just said, you are not only an idiot but also a fake fan.
