There was never a collective push to grade like there has been since the influencers took hold. Now people who normally would never touch this hobby are being misguided into trying to be like their rich surrogate friends for what is in reality a paltry profit. The end result is that the hobby is ruined for people who have been into it before the newfags were born, and those newfags aren't even getting much of anything out of it themselves. Meanwhile the investors (people who don't care about the hobby beyond its means to generate profit - see 90% of the large influencers) make out like bandits because the hype they've generated through their retarded audiences drives up demand for whatever they happen to own.
