This is the squad after beating Ren (who actually gave me some trouble, Silvally ran wild on me a bit) and presumably about to end Chapter 13
Honestly despite my fears I'd have to rotate all the time I've managed to keep a fairly solid core. A few standouts
>Pyukumuku
absolute MVP, has won me shit it had no right to do, I love my sea cucumber
>A-Volcarona
the big boy, perfectly able to tank a hit to set up Quiver Dance and sweep if the other team doesn't have a check (which to be fair most of the important fights do, but he's still real good)
>Talonflame
Surprisingly relevant though that may also be me not catching many fire types so he's always had that niche. But he was an early game champ once he had Acrobatics to blitz everyone with its boosted power.
Honorable mentions to Ludicolo, Empoleon and Gastrodon for rainy days, as well as Escavalier for just being a tough little dude that dealt with a few tough fights.
A-Breloom has underwhelmed just a little; its not bad by any means but with its stats and ability it feels it should be obliterating even with neutral hits and it doesn't quite do that. Still a decent pick though.
Mr Mime is back for screens, could possibly find a better choice for that but he's fast, not too soft and was another early game carry so I'll keep him out of respect
