I maintain that the only dragons that aren't actually effected by fairies have great secondary STAB anyways. Kyurem was always terrible and relied on Ice Beam to do real damage anyways. Zard-X has the strongest Flare Blitz in the game. Most uber dragons have great coverage moves. But you see Salamence getting ripped the fuck out because it only has Outrage and not something akin to Brave Bird.
Besides that, it did buff a good deal of pokemon that otherwise would have been useless again.
