Quick sketch of ideas
From right to left:
>enter stage right, open grassy area surrounded by trees, no trainers, one ranger(?) tells you a little about the maze ahead
>Cliff drop off and rope bridge going into the canopy
>The hashed box is for the multi level canopy maze involving rope ladders, vines walking along branches etc. It will be bigger on the inside. Very few trainers but bird/monkey/grass pokemon hiding in the foliage of the canopy
>Exit forest dungeon of doom, cross a second rope bridge (alternatively make way down to the bottom of large trees) to open area covered in flowers and happily roaming pokemon being watched over by a jungle native.
>Enter small hut where a medicine woman says something like "We don't often see many trainers from the city, your pokemon look like they need a rest" BLOOOOOP!
>Proceed downhill and to the west
>More trekking through the jungle! Path should look like a chameleohm's intestines. There are a couple spots of quicksand that if you get sucked into spit you out at the base of the ravine where you trek back up and arrive at the flowery place again
>Along the way and off the beaten track there are a couple more huts with people inside who say useless things about the environment.
>Entrance to a small cave tucked away that takes you to the base of the ravine where it's swampy or something. (different area to where you go if you get quicksanded) Entrance to dive tunnels?
>Arrive at large fast-flowing river and meet a rapids puzzle.
>once you get across you get to the safari zone town. There's a poke centre/mart and a normal house or two. (You can fly here later)
>Continue west, first uphill to more jungle then downhill into swamp. Below this section is a sort of obelisk stone henge sort of ruin where you have to go meet the grass ghost leader before you can battle them.
>You do your swampy biz and then arrive at the Jungle village. More lame text about the environment.
