I fucking hate Gen 9's power creep and the jannies of Pokemon Showdown. I'm not pretending Showderp didn't break any rules, but things well and truly went to shit when the jannies were given 'moderator discretion' to ban people if they *felt* like someone was breaking a rule. We had jannies stalking us for months on end until it eventually cumulated into the retarded auto-lock bot that bricked their entire website. Interacting with opponents was what made this whole thing fun, so when that was out of the picture, Showderp's decline was inevitable.
I also realised that I gain nothing from posting on 4chan. For all I fucking know, the person I am talking to might be mentally retarded. I don't mean that as an insult either, as in they're actually mentally retarded and I'm wasting my time arguing with a downy or a schizo. Even worse, it might not even be a real person and I'm arguing with a bot. It's all so meaningless.
