>>56768645Galar in general just feels like a theme park version of Britain because the cities and landscape are nothing like reality. Since gen 5, GF has been putting forests, deserts, and tundra wherever on the map with no logic whatsoever. Sure, Hoenn and Sinnoh also had some of that, but Hoenn had sensible geography based on the central volcano and mountain divide and Sinnoh had its snowy region in the north with desert relegated to a tiny post-game route on a separate landmass. Meanwhile, Galar has tundra in the south, the wild area's patchwork biomes in the center surrounding by the more normal plains and hills, and then throws not-London in the far north. If someone sad the Galar map is oriented with South at the top, it would honestly make more sense. Which I guess would make the Isle of Armor the stand-in for Ireland, although it's yet another all-in-one nonsense landscape.
