>>34525663I pirated it because of Denuvo, but after playing it I feel it would have been worth $20 if not for Denuvo. I like ROMhacks and play them all the time, and Mania's production quality and polish outdoes just about all Sonic ROMhacks. The aesthetics and music are top-notch, and though it would have been better with more original levels I didn't mind the remixed levels because of how different they can get, especially the Sonic CD stages. The only big problem I have with Mania is that the final boss seems unfinished, where you can see the HBH appear as attacks and they can even take damage if you hit them but they don't actually need to be taken out because they don't have healthbars and you can easily beat the boss without even seeing them all. Mania is my GOTY, to be completely straight.
