Managed to just beat that twink's Smeargle this time without anyone fainting. Just started Route 2 and this fucking Smeargle is the first thing I find. It also sketched Water Gun off my Wingull, tempted towards just boxing this thing / using it as a sacrifice because fuck all these water moves and fuck Smeargle.
I skipped grabbing a poke from the Hau'oli Outskirts because it seemed to still be part of route 1 since it reads
