The player will traverse only through parts of each region, collect four badges and then move onto the next region. At the end after getting sixteen badges, there will be an National Elite Four/tournament equivalent.
Route 7 is now Mindaro Market (Mindaro being a green-yellow colour as it fits between Celadon and Saffron). The main idea is that I want Celadon (Shinjuku) and Saffron (Marunouchi) to really feel like districts of Tokyo, there will probably be another Tokyo-inspired town above Celadon. Maybe Minato so I can put in something like Tokyo Tower. I might also include Lavender (Narita) and Vermillion (Yokohama).
The gibberish Kanji is temporary. I'll probably just change it to some kanji-looking symbols with no meaning. I agree the perspective of the signs is off. They are also half "impassible" for now but I could fix that by changing the yellow pallete. I really like the signs but at the same time, not entirely sure about them.
