Pokemon in his setting are/can be a lot more human than you'd see for the regular Pokemon Universe. Not to mention he worships & is a 'Cleric' of the Pokemon Shaymin who in context of the world is basically a demi god and controls all the nature of the Sinnoh Region. He once got hit on by a Meloetta that transformed into a Human and his Luxray has been trying (and failing) to get into his pants for like 4 months. He's just not interested in any of them though or just doesn't feel they are compatible.
