I doubt that the DP "storyline" ever ends it was the series that really brought the feeling of an overarching story for Ash.
If anything (no memes) it really feels like they want us to go from DP->SM->JN
while "ignoring" events from both BW and xy.
im hoping SV continues with some sort of familiarity with previous events either in story returning characters or hopefully both
