Believe it or not, I'll share details on how I got these informations just when games will be released. I just can say that I've not seen the game in my hands, I've just obtained a bunch of files and texts about the game. Something could be partially wrong because of my interpretation.
> Grookey final evolution is based on Ringo Starr, Beatles' drummer. It wears star-shaped sunglassess and plays drums on his belly. Type: Grass/Dark. RPG class: barbarian.
> Scorbunny final evolution is a soccer player capable to jump high and glide thanks to its huge ears. Type: Fire/Flying. RPG class: monk.
> Sobble final evolution I think takes inspiration on Nessie, but has no fins. Type: Water/Ghost. RPG class: medium/necromancer?.
> Galar is linked to Kalos, but it doesn't seem you can visit it.
> New TEAMS concept: there's no "real" evil team in Galar, but there are 8 teams based on Galar cities and their stadiums. Of course one of this team is troubling, but at the end of the game the player will calm it down. Every team has its symbols and colours, and there's a championship with a leaderboard. It seems based on soccer, maybe Premier League.
> New mechanics seems insane. I had trouble to understand how it works, but it seems to twist the battling system. I just write what is clear to me: 3 pokémon VS 3, and every creature has a specific role: offensive, supportive and defensive. Offensive roles can only attack, defensive can only use status moves, supportive can only use their abilities. You can switch pokémon roles once per turn during the fight.
> 73 new Pokémon (including 5 more legendaries out of Meltan and Melmetal), + 5 new evolutions, 2 new pre-evolutions, and 15 new megas (yes, they're back). No new regional forms and no new Z moves.
