>The good
The visuals (outside of the 3d models and character artwork) were really fucking good. Easily some of, if not the best looking maps I've seen in a while. The tilesets and lighting effects really carried at points, but most of the maps themselves were pretty nice to navigate, thanks to being able to avoid trainers and overworld mons if you didn't want to fight them.
The soundtrack was alright. Nothing spectacular, but I liked a couple of tracks, and it's not the usual Glitchxshitty that plagues nearly every single fangame, which is a huge plus on it's own.
>The neutral
The leveling, while really bad at the beginning, was not terrible after a bit with the Exp All. Still far from good, but a vast improvement to the first few hours of the game.
I still don't really see the point of the casino only giving you money. I guess so faggots could buy the le 100k outfit and get fancy internet points on the shitcord?
The difficulty (outside of the bugfag and the Ice leaders) was
>The bad
>The 3d models are atrocious, and the game would be far better off without them. Art is also bad.
The first ~3-4 hours of the game are fucking atrocious, and bring down everything else significantly. Having to buy Running Shoes, the food bar, the Bug Gym leader, the fucking 'oh you lost all your food and half your money because fuck you', all of it was really fucking dumb.
It's basically impossible to level a full team, even with the Exp all. By lategame, when you're in your mid-high 40s, the wild mons are still in the mid-high 20s, so you'd have to grind a metric fuckton if you wanted to use something available late, not to mention all the food you'd go through during said grinding. I ran a team of 3-4 for most of the game and still felt under the curve at more than a few points.
Overall, I'll give the game a 4/10. The mid-endgame was pretty tolerable imo, but like I said, the first few hours are hell, and reflect very poorly on the rest of the game.
