In terms of design and capabilities Dragonite feels like a creature that would make a great travel buddy and a fierce combatant. It can be tough to find, capture, and train, but it is always worth the effort. Mechanically, Multiscale is an amazing ability, and it's movepool is vast with lots of types represented and surprises like Extreme Speed.
