Reminder that Ghetsis was the guy who gave N the stupid plan to try and 'liberate' Pokemon (which is impossible). N was just a pawn in his game and didn't fully understand the actual flaws of the Pokemon Universe because he grew up in an environment filled with only abused Pokemon and a man who didn't care about him. So he spends the game trying to understand humans and Pokemon and comes to the conclusion that most Humans treat pokemon like friends and Pokemon like being with people. Only evil people seem to abuse pokemon.
The actual flaw of the universe has always been exploitation of Pokemon and a lack of true equality, not pokemon being slaves to their masters or anything like that. When a person tells N "Pokemon are our friends and family not our slaves" he should clap back with something like "You don't keep your human friends and family inside Pokeballs, you don't exploit them for fame and money. Are they really your friends/family if you can't treat them as equals and you exploit them like you are?" Or something like that.
