I actually enjoyed Lillie's character arc and moments in Sun Moon. Beyond acting as the player's mouthpiece at times, I'd dare say she's one of only 3 genuinely well written characters in the series. Unfortunately, they ruined her in USUM onwards by doubling down on the waifubait.
