- A Mac: you can run the script, and make it externally visible
- A linux PC/laptop: you can run the script and make it externally visible
- A Windows PC: you can run the script and make it externally visible
All three would let you have a 'personalised website' for inputting stuff.
Now, then you could choose between viewing it as a website and running it as an app, example as
https://github.com/istornz/iPokeGo The developer plans to have it standalone like the android port:
>TODO: Make the app totaly independent>TODO: Change scan position based on user locationProbably not going to happen soon though.
Another option is to have something like pushbullet or another notifier running and get computer notifications on your phone when they appear
https://github.com/jxmorris12/PokemonGo-FinderIf you also have a webserver running around (they are cheap, I got one from ramnode for 48 USD a year but it's only using about 20% of the resources and I'm running like a whole bunch of other stuff on it too, they used to have a 13.5 USD per year plan too) you could also run a mini website off that.
Pokevision has its uses, but it does have about a 6 second time delay the last time I checked as well as crapping out and not picking up on pokemon in the area correctly.
