I really like a League that isn't deadly serious and up it's own ass about how important being a Pokemon master is, and how that is the pinnacle of achievement. Doesn't matter if you're 11 or 70, go to school, learn a bit about Pokemon, go out to train and explore, battle gym leaders who are actually rounded individuals and not obsessive combatants (who still get beat by children with their route 1 shitmons), face an E4 and Champion who are there to test your skill and not give away ultimate power to whichever fuckboi knocks them off their throne.
