None of us would be complaining about every little detail of every new Pokemon, none of us would be waiting to buy yet another new Pokemon game, none of us would be shitposting on an anonymous image board for Pokemon, and only a handful of dedicated autists would still be fapping to furry Pokemon porn.
Granted, something else would've taken its place in history, but I can't help but think that an early demise might've been the best thing that didn't happen to this franchise. Because sooner or later, Pokemon will end. Death is a natural part of life, after all. And when Pokemon finally ends, it will leave behind millions of deeply unsatisfied fans no matter what.
