Ash had learnt this revelation months ago by Giovanni after he got kidnapped by him, HE specifically got kidnapped by Giovanni. After enough evidence of Ash seeing pokemon being brutally murdered and sacrificed to demonic deities, Ash decided to join The Master Eight, a tournament that would bring all of the elite four of the world together whether to watch or participate. Leon knew about this but chose his fame over the lives of several pokemon. In the final battle, Team Rocket attacks the Wyndon Stadium and begin battling against the Elite Fours of the World, the song playing in the background of the final battle is "Last Resort" by Papa Roach. the battle was super brutal. in the process Goh's Cinderace is killed in battle by Shitrona. Ash's Lucario venges her (yes, I headcanon it as a she) and kills Shitrona brutally. After a long gruesome battle, and the elite four defeated. Ash and the rest of the world who'd survive begin a kingdom in Pallet Town, Ash is the king and Pikachu is his partner in defending the world from monsters like the elite four. Sonic on the other hand is their bodyguard like The Kingsman movies. He continuously defends Ash from degenerates from assassinating him. Ash's Lucario is devastated from the loss of Cinderace and vows to be a better partner to not just Ash, but as a partner to Goh. Lucario runs off never to be seen or heard from again as he would spend the next several years training on his own in the middle of nowhere. The series closes with Masuda molesting Satoshi Tajiri and then jumping out a high story building to his gruesome demise.
