>>34475345So, kind of a big update.
After heading down from Violet, I decided to grind everyone up to 16, with Stealth and Octo Mom reaching 17, all while eating the ass of all who got in our way. Down the route, I found a Pokemon Center where a fishing maniac all but shoved his fishing rod down my throat. Well then.
I took that as a sign to begin career fishing, and what better time to start than now, amirite? So I ran back to Violet and cast my line over the bridge to the tower. What the pond brought me was....a Weedle. Two pokeballs later and Sea Bee joined our merry band. She a Gentle thing, very friendly and kind, not really suited for the battlefield; which is why I put her in the PC.
Excited by my success, I turned back down the path home, stopping by Cherrygrove for a spot of fishing. While I waited out the boredom, a curious being came by to play with us. The pokemon splashed and swam all day and, when the time to go came, the curious pink creature just wouldn't go back to where it came from. Gama-chan got suspicious and Glared at it, making it nervous. One Great Ball (courtesy of Sea Bee) was all it took then for Lyn to join us. She took Grimace's place because his Defense lowering nature might get in the way of his job as a tank.
Back in Newbark, a sudden heat permeated the area and, as I cast my line, a gigantic red titan rose out the water. Try as I might, I just couldn't tame the ground beast, and, in his Struggle against Gama-chan, he tired out and left, the oppressing sunhine going as quickly as it came.
Now I'm off to the cave and Azalea on the other side.
