The one scenario I could imagine being transformed into a Pokémon in would be a Mystery Dungeon setting, with getting isekai'd and all that. I think I'd have a good life as a Salandit in that setting, since being in a Pokémon village is a lot safer than being fully wild. And in such a case, being small and not having to eat much has more pros than cons.
