Geara sends out Alolan Marowak and Persian, I send out Crono and Pancha. Persian Fake Outs Pancha, I land a Water Pulse on Marowak with Crono, then the Marowak fuckin Brick Breaks and oneshots Pancha. great
>Turn 2
Now know the Marowak is Thick Club, so I prioritize it, and send out Broque. Broque sets up Reflect, and kill Marowak, while Persian hits Broque for a third of his health with Return.
>Turn 3
Out comes Haunter. Don't want it to kill Broque, so I double on it, killing it, but then Persian lands a crit return, killing Broque, fantastic
>Turns 4-8
I send out Garm as the big guy Giratina comes out. This thing's super fucking scary, and i have no cushion like i did for mewtwo, so I just begin spamming Snarl and Smokescreen the Persian. thankfully, the persian just fucks around and giratina's extremely powerful earth powers and aura spheres are whittled down by snarl + healing, and reflect ends on a double kill of both giratina and persian.
>Turn 9-10
Out comes the final two, Clefable and Masquerain. I swap out Crono for Seviche, fearing the Fairy move, as Garm embers the masquerain, bringing it below half, and seviche gets paralyzed by both clefable and masquerain. I kill Masquerain the following turn, but then Clefable reveals it has flamethrower, killing seviche from full ;(
I just spammed Snarl the rest of the battle and Nozomi/Garm facetanked the clefable's annoying dazzling gleams and thunder waves, but yeah, that's five dead bros in 30 minutes despite heavy ev training and prep. this game does not fuck around.
up next is the ghost gym leader and ren, and now i have access to the breeders for easy exp grinding, which i will take advantage of
