If they are different, they can go into games without restriction. If they are the same, you'll need something else to put in the game first, of the same species. That includes Go legends with a different OT ID.
What I do for mythicals and legends I want unrestricted: transfer to an alt Home, trade myself for a shitmon to main Home (via Friend Trade which enables mythicals). Then that mon can go into any game with no restrictions.
Got Celebi and Victini into Swordshit that way.
