I've been doing a lot of shitmon playthroughs of games recently. The games listed are respectively HG, FR, OR, and B2. I consider them complete when I beat the Round 2 of the Elite 4 (and Red in HG). I just gotta do the Delta Episode and R2 in OR and then complete the game in B2 since I'm only halfway through.
They've all held up surprisingly well, but I was very surprised with Castform, Probopass, Butterfree and Hitmonchan. In terms of difficulty, I would probably say it would go
B2>FR=HG>OR B2 has me constantly switching out members of my team, FR and HG were pretty simple throughout outside of their respective final bosses which took me a few tries to get them down, and a roadblock which was Misty/Lance in FR and Clair/Sabrina in HG, but other than those encounters it was smooth sailing. OR did require a bit of cheesing with Roxanne (which took me a few resets to beat her) but after that, it was real smooth sailing with Huntail even soloing Steven, and will probably be the same with Zinnia and R2 Steven.
