Difficulty in Pokémon comes from how likely it is that a player will end up in a situation where they’ll be less prepared for a challenge than they could’ve been, not from the games FORCING the player into a tough and uncheesable fight. This is why MOST people said the EXP share was broken, and this is why most people say the older games were harder. Players can cheese every Pokémon game by just finding out the most effective strategy and then executing it, but the older games made this harder by making TMs limited, giving the player a smaller pool of mons to work with, making EXP less plentiful, making items rarer, making the bag limited capacity, ETC. Im tired of anons on this board pretending these factors don’t exist
Picrel for example is technically better than any gen 1 boss, but you get infinite TMs, several times as many Pokémon options, access to mega evolution, etc.
