Anyone ever return to an abandoned fic and finish it? Whether you actually put the effort into the final chapters or just transcribed an abridged series of events to help give closure, I'm interested to hear in others' experiences with that.
I found notes to one of my original fanfics that hadn't seen an update since 2011. I've long lost any desire to write for it, but I decided any closure was better than none at all, and it feels strangely relieving in one way, somber in another. Seeing all of the old names who used to read it and seem to have zero presence in the community since that time is weird considering it's coming up on 15 years.
Anyways the trip down memory lane got me back into writing this shit again. Hope to have something to share soon.
